History

The wakepark that started it all… Spinning since 1999, the 4 tower Rixen cable system was originally designed for slalom skiing which over time evolved into the very first wakepark in the Philippines. The ski park attracted boat riders who wanted to take their riding to the cable. With the permission of Lago De Oro, these pioneer riders built the first jumps and ramps (called sliders) creating features that turned the lake into the very first wakepark in the county.

As more people laid eyes on this exciting new sport, cable wakeboarding was born in the Philippines. Through the years the park has evolved into a full blown modern day wakepark complete with modern obstacles and kickers.

When you ride at Lago De Oro you are riding a little bit of Philippine wake history.
